So you visited MyShowroom.TV and you decided to register? No worry the registration happens very quickly. Just a few fields to fill out. No more than a minute. After that you're ready to broadcast your first show.
So how to do that? Simply download the Studio application from our website and install that on your PC. When you're done, launch the Studio. The first time you launch it the Studio will ask about your user name/email address and password. Use what you used at the registration process and for easier operation check in the auto sign-in function.
We're close just 2 things left. If you would use the archiving function you need to turn that on. Simply click on the File > Studio Configuration menu (or CTRL+W) and in the pop up select an archive directory and check in the archive comment and archive show check boxes. Now your shows will be recorded to your machine to the given directory and when you finish up a broadcast the Studio will upload the show to the MyShowroom.TV site. You can use your own FTP too in this case go to the MyShowroom.TV site. Log in and click on the Edit Profile function on the top. There's an FTP settings function in the list. Where you can change to use MyShowroom.TV as an archive or your own FTP. Currently every user has 500Meg storage for archived content on MyShowroom.TV. So if you need more you're not limited you can use any kind of FTP to expand it.
OK this is about archiving. Now the last step before we go live. Set up the broadcast sources what we will use on our show. Simply right click on one of the icons on the bottom in the studio. Let's say Web cam. Click on "Open Channel Configuration". (You can name your broadcast source for easy identification.) Select the audio and video source and make sure both audio and video is allowed.
If you click on Preview you can check your broadcast source before you go live. When you're done just click on OK. You will see that your Broadcast source image has changed in the Studio. Now this shows a green check mark next to your source. That means its configured and ready to use. The same way you are able to set up 6 different sources. Multiple web cams, encoder inputs, desktop, video files etc. Now click on the source which you just set up and has the green check sign on it and the Studio will show a green border around that source. The source now selected and you're ready to go live.
Hit ON AIR and you will start your first show.
